Wishing everyone a Happy New Year!

Two new photos have been uploaded today, both taken first thing this morning. Meet an old river family Windy, Winnie and Wilf are regular visitors luckily no sign of them leaving the " Lark " for warmer climates at the moment. We were lucky enough to be joined by the trio as the fireworks went off at midnight on New Year's eve as we watched from the top of the boat on a mild starry night the distant fireworks did not deter them from the visit which was magical.

Today's photos caught two beautiful seagulls in flight and the cheeky Marshall Walnut and his inseparable friend Mr. Squeak you may see if you look carefully in one of the photos.

We were also visited by the glorious Comorant named "Rafferty" very tricky to catch in a photo as they dive under the water and pop up at unexpected places further down the river. I will keep trying and hopefully post one soon.

A quick update on the nest building from the other day ..........It as expected after all his hard work floated off with the tide, the next attempt will without doubt be very soon !
